Firefighters Without Borders, Canada.

By Bob Dubbert.

On August 4, 2022, Josh Miller and his energetic daughter brought down a trailer full of donated gear from Invermere BC to Delta BC, a distance of 870 kilometers one way, over a 10 hour drive.

Home Hardware in Invermere BC collects and stores donations for us from departments in southeastern British Columbia and this is the second large load they have brought down to the coast.

The Miller family owns the Home Hardware stores in Invermere and Golden, BC and are very active in supporting their communities and also Firefighters Without Borders Canada. We have already started loading all this gear into our next 40' container for the Philippines that we started loading today, August 9/22.

Thank you to the Fernie FD, Aq'am First Nation, BC Hydro Mica Creek site and another FD that wishes to remain anonymous for all of these donations. And we couldn't make this happen without the dedication and hard work of Invermere FD A/C Tom McNeil and his wife Kathy who coordinate the collection and organization of all the donations in southeastern BC.

Thank you to all these remarkable people!
