Winter Gardener Success

New excited gardeners in our community!

The Winter Gardener education series about all aspects of gardening, completed the last workshop of the 6 part series, on March 30th with a celebration and special guest speaker: Rick vanDuyvendyk, owner Dutch Growers, Author/broadcaster.

Congratulations goes out to the 25 participants for their participation, excellent questions and enthusiasm through the course. We are happy that you have joined our Groundswell gardening community. We hope that the information gleaned from these workshops will help you create an abundant a beautiful garden.

Additional thanks to the extremely helpful Groundswell volunteers who assisted participants at each table as well as the crew of Students from the College of the Rockies who came each night to help setup and take down the tables and chairs.

We are also so very grateful for our wonderful Groundswell member Barbara Thrasher, who with a bit of help from our board members, coordinated and facilitated the whole series. It was her brain child and we thank her for all the wonderful work she has done to make the series a success.
